About Us

Hi! I'm Kate, the founder of Lacuna Consulting LLC. I've been deeply involved in Colorado's Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) system since 2008. Over the years, I've had the privilege of managing a variety of programs, ranging from day services to employment initiatives, as well as respite and residential support and serve in many positions including Direct Support Professional, Program Director, Host Home Provider, and Executive Director of Organizational Strategy.

 My work has always been driven by a passion for making a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals and families impacted by various disabilities.
In 2018, I began consulting with the goal of helping others who share my passion for the IDD field. At Lacuna Consulting, I strive to empower professionals and agencies to develop and expand creative, essential services that meet the diverse needs of our community. 

My mission is to support and guide those who are new to the field, as well as established agencies looking to innovate and enhance their services. At Lacuna Consulting, you'll work closely with me, but you'll also benefit from the expertise of other seasoned professionals in the field.
